On Saturday, December 30 at 6:00 PM IST, Soma Sekhar Pothuru, Senior Mechanical Engineer (Performance Design Redbull Racing & Redbull Technology shall be presenting on the topic “Cost-effective estimation of Power and Energy using Real-life data” as a part of the Membership by Formula Bharat initiative. This session is hosted in collaboration with United Motorsports Academy

– Forces Acting against vehicle motion
– Capturing Data using Mobile Phone
– Deriving Altitude using GPS visualiser
– Power and Energy estimation using Excel/1D software – example overview

About the speaker:

Soma Sekhar Pothuru is a highly experienced engineer in the field of Mechanical, Production, and Vehicle Power Trains. He finished his Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from SVH College of Engineering in India. He then completed a master’s degree in Production from NIT Rourkela.

He has more than 18 years of experience in the field of engineering – spread out across reputed companies like Volvo, Cummins, Robertshaw, and now Red Bull Racing & Red Bull Technology.
