Formula Bharat is launching a new program called the ‘EV Development Program (EVDP)’ which is geared to assist teams that are either currently registered in, or intend to register in the Electric Vehicle category in a Formula Student competition. The purpose of the program is to improve the competitiveness levels of teams participating in the EV category through providing them with guidance, resources and mentorship to achieve success at the competition level.
EVDP 2023 will run from October 2023 until March 2024. This 20 week program will include a mandatory attendance of online sessions and a successful completion of weekly assignments during the course of the program. The EVDP 2023 application assessment focusses broadly on the team's responses in the application, their intent with participation and their 'newness' to the FS Electric category. The focus is primarily on providing mentorship support with teams that may generally not have any or have limited resources.

Yes, EVDP 2023's sessions will be held online, primarily via either Google Meet or Zoom.
Competition organizers will record the sessions for teams to be able to access the content later. However kindly note that there is no guarantee that all recordings will be available.
The Electric Vehicle Development Program (EVDP) was designed to provide support and resources to teams interested in switching to the FS Electric category, or even for those struggling with growing as a team in that category. Through detailed online sessions, assessments and one-on-one mentor reviews, this pilot program aims to create stronger, successful teams.
Due to the virtual nature of the program, EVDP 2023 is open for applications from teams within India and abroad as well.
