About the speaker:

Punith Gowda is a highly experienced engineer in the field of vehicle aerodynamics.
He finished his Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from IIT-Guwahati in India. He then completed a master’s degree in mechanical engineering in Texas and a second master’s degree in aerospace engineering from Cornell University.

He has been working in the field of aerodynamics for 18 years. His career has taken him through McLaren Automotive, Williams Advanced Engineering, Williams F1, Alfa Romeo Sauber F1, Scuderia Toro Rosso, and Bentley Motors. He started his career as a CFD engineer at McLaren. He then moved to Williams F1 as an aerodynamicist and later became a senior aerodynamicist. After 7 years at Williams, he moved to Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 as a group leader of the front car team before spending 2 years at Scuderia Toro Rosso. He is now the Aerodynamics Technical Manager at Bentley Motors.
