At Curiosum Tech, we believe in the power of continuous learning and self-enrichment. As COVID-19 continues to spread and with institutions closed until further notice, we understand that participants within our various competition categories are unsure of what the schedule for the same will look like in the upcoming season 2020-2021. So I wanted to contact you personally to share more about what we are in the course of undertaking.
FSEV Concept Challenge 2020
According to recent news reports, the COVID-19 pandemic is likely to continue into July 2020, affecting 400 million individuals across the country. As such, it is highly likely that FSEV Concept Challenge 2020 will be hosted through virtual conferencing in July 2020. Within the next two weeks, we shall disperse more information on the details on the challenge.

FB Academy 2020
Through feedback received from the Formula Bharat 2020 event, we shall be splitting the Formula Bharat Academy into multiple levels.
Level 1 which concerns immediate topics on change in rules and documentation, common mistakes etc, will be available through complimentary online seminars held during the year.
Level 2 will be dedicated to intermediate learning such as data collection and data analysis. In September 2020, we will be hosting a seminar in Bengaluru (tentative) which will focus on the testing data received during vehicle testing and how the team and the driver can use this data to improve performance on track.
Formula Bharat 2021
The Formula Bharat 2021 competition is still scheduled to take place from January 22-26, 2021 at the Kari Motor Speedway. The online quiz for the competition’s registration will take place in May 2020. Due to the current pandemic, the fees for the competition will be deflected to be paid until August 2020, however, a minimum down-payment will be required for quiz participation.
At the same time, Formula Bharat 2021 will open opportunities for second year vehicles in both the combustion and electric categories. We understand that once institutions open, students will be scrambling to make up for lost time in academics and exams, and that there will not be enough time to design, manufacture and build a new vehicle for January 2021.
Hence this move will allow teams to focus on improving their previous year’s design while providing ample opportunity to focus vehicle testing and driver training. Please note that second year vehicles will be required to adhere to the Formula Bharat 2021 Rules Booklet.

The Formula Bharat 2021 Rules Booklet will be released on April 10. It will be an adaptation of the Formula Student 2020 Rules Booklet, created by FSG.
More details on pre-registration, fees, quiz and amenities available with Formula Bharat 2021 will be shared later in April.

Astrover Challenge 2021
The Astrover Challenge 2021 competition is still scheduled to take place in February 2021 (Location TBA). Registration for the competition will open in July 2021.
