For young engineers, Formula Student is an incredible learning platform. Over the course of a full year, it requires multidisciplinary skills as well as an industry-like approach from start to finish. This workshop is directed at teams who are participating in Formula Student-like competitions for the first time. The aim is to inculcate a holistic perspective toward race vehicle engineering using principles of project management, product development, and vehicle engineering. In the first session, participants will learn how to start up a Formula Bharat team, gather resources, set goals, and implement best practices to achieve them. As part of the second session, we discuss the methods of product development used in planning, developing strategy, and designing the FB car. During the third session, we’ll move on to turning the design into a fully-functional race car. Aside from practical tips, participants can also interact directly with the hosts to ask questions or get practical advice on how to improve their cars.
