As we are gearing up for Formula Bharat 2020, we thought we might throw a little contest and giveaway into the mix. This is where YOU come in!
It’s quite simple really. Below, you will find all the info you need to participate and you will have the chance to see your t-shirt OR cap design featured in our official merchandise at Formula Bharat 2020. Not to mention, the design winner for each apparel (t-shirt or cap) will receive cash prize of ₹1000!
How it Works:
The contest will run from Wednesday, October 30 through Wednesday, November 10, 2019. During this period, we encourage anyone to participate in designing a ‘Formula Student themed ‘t-shirt.
Our judging panel at Formula Bharat will select upto a maximum of top five designs based on the judging criteria found below, for each apparel, and we will post them via our Facebook and Instagram accounts. The design post with the most number of ‘likes’ on both platforms will win! Any use of bots for likes (i.e. fake likes) will result in disqualification.
Anyone can participate in this competition. You do not need to be a registered member of any team at Formula Bharat 2020 to participate.
Submitting Your T-Shirt Design:
Design must be made in a vector format and must fit within a 400 px vertical x 1000 px horizontal plane. Only 2 colors are allowed throughout the design. Design must be made keeping in mind that that the t-shirt chosen will be black in color. Please use a resolution of 200 dpi or greater.
Submitting Your Cap Design:
Design must be made in a vector format and must fit within a 400 px vertical x 750 px horizontal plane. Only 2 colors are allowed throughout the design. Design must be made keeping in mind that that the cap chosen will be black in color. Please use a resolution of 200 dpi or greater.
Initial Submission:
For the initial submission, please only email the design in a .jpg format with a file size between 1 MB to 3 MB maximum. The image must be on a black background. Name of file must have full name in the following format: e.g. AbhishekPatil-Shirt.jpg OR AbhishekPatil-Cap.jpg . If submitting more than one entry for the same apparel type, please name the respective files as <FullName_Apparel_1> and <FullName _Apparel_ 2>.
All entries will have to be emailed to formulabharat@gmail.com by 23:59 pm on Sunday, November 10, 2019. An individual can upload a maximum of 2 entries per apparel type.
Judges will finalize upto 5 semi-finalists and these images will be posted on Formula Bharat’s Facebook and Instagram media accounts by Tuesday November 12. The design with the greatest number of likes on both platforms by 12 PM on Friday November 15 will win the contest!
Post-Winning:
The winner of the best design is required to send the vector files to formulabharat@gmail.com no later than November 17, 2019.
