Best Electric Powertrain Award by Micelio Mobility

Formula Bharat is pleased to announce the Best Electric Powertrain Award hosted by Micelio Mobility. Two cash prizes – INR 50,000 and INR 25,000 – will be distributed amongst the Winner and 1st Place Runner Up, respectively, of this award by Micelio Mobility. Winners will be announced at the Formula Bharat 2020 competition on Saturday, January 25, 2020.
Awards Description:
The Micelio Best Electric Powertrain Award will be judged on the following:
- Design of powertrain system with respect to the power to weight ratio and efficiency etc in driving conditions (on track).
- Choice of components optimized for packaging, weight and volume, where attention will be paid to the coherence of the overall design.
- Optimal positioning of the components with respect to the car’s dynamics properties, durability, thermal requirements and cost.
- Ease of assembly and serviceability of the system.
- Application of innovative ideas to improve basic requirements like range, efficiency etc.
- Testing and validation of your powertrain system.
- Correlation between the system model and test data.
- Smart Features helping the driver or team in analysis or tweaking performance of the car.
For the award, teams are advised to describe their concept using suitable documentation and presentation media. Emphasis should be on the above-mentioned points. In the ideal case, teams can back up their presentation by physical proof over the actually achieved value(s) for one or more performance parameters.

- Only 1 submission per team will be accepted towards this award.
- Submissions may be made in any format suitable to the team.
- Maximum 10 pages and submitted in PDF format only.

Selection Process:
Finalists will be chosen based on their submissions. Teams that enter the Final Round will be invited to present their submissions to judging personnel of Micelio Mobility at the Formula Bharat 2020 competition during scheduled slots of 35 mins each on Friday January 24, 2020.
Winner and Runner-Up of the Micelio Best Electric Powertrain Award will be announced at the Awards Ceremony 1 on Saturday January 25, 2020.
